摘要
"繫■"见于《说文》,表示"恶絮"之义,又可写作"赫蹏""■■",是同一个词的不同书写形式。"繫"写作"赫"受到流俗词源影响。"■■"可训为"赤纸","赤"应训为"裂",本字为"捇",也可以由通假字"赫"来记录,"赤纸"即"碎绢帛絮"。"■■"是"■■"的释语,两词所指相同,不应解释为"红纸"。近代"繫■"还产生了"赩蹄""■绨"的书写方式,这是受"赤纸"误读产生的新的流俗词源。
Xìlí(繫■)recorded in ShuōwénJiězì(说文解字),interpreted as the meaning of bad fibre,and can be written as hètí(赫蹏/■■),which is different writing forms of the same word.It is influenced by popular etymology that xì(繫)is written as hè(赫).hètí(■■)was annotated chìzhǐ(赤紙);chì(赤)should be understood as split,which the orthograph is huo(捇),and the word can also be written as the character hè(赫).chìzhǐ(赤紙)is also means fibre of broken silk.Zuò(■)is another annotation of hètí(■■);zuò(■)and hètí(■■)both refer to the same thing and should not be understood as red paper.Xìlí(繫■)can also be written as xìtí(赩蹄/■■),which is a new popular etymology caused by the misreading of chìzhǐ(赤紙).
