美国对越心理战中越南女性形象论析

Innocent Weapon:On the Female Images in the U.S.Psychological War against Vietnam

越战期间,美方为遏制共产主义阵营扩展,多方位实施心理战。为瓦解对方斗志及达到诱降目的,美方利用越南家庭中母亲地位较高及夫妻之间以情义而非道义结合这一点,大打感情牌,彰显母亲、妻子等女性因儿子、丈夫缺席而导致的孤独、悲伤之情,以唤起越共对家的思念及责任感、愧疚感;与此同时,又突出女性性感的一面,以引发越共对两性正常生活的向往;同时,为弥补南越因男性参战而导致的种种人力短缺,美方又宣扬女性强健、勤劳的一面,鼓动女性投身反共战斗与国家的生产建设中。美方关于越南女性的种种举措,并非帮助越南女性发展,而在于稳固、美化南越政府以对抗北越,女性只是无辜的心理战武器。

During the Vietnam War,the United States carried out the psychological warfare in many ways to contain the expansion of the Communist camp.In order to dissolve the opponents’ fighting spirit and induce them to surrender,the U.S.employed mother and wife in Vietnamese families to?stimulate the Viet Cong to miss their home and arouse their sense of responsibility and guilt.At the same time,the U.S.also highlighted women’s sexy body to arouse the desire of the Viet Cong for a normal?sexual life?and family life.In addition,to compensate the shortages of manpower in South Vietnam,the U.S.promoted women’s strength and industriousness,encouraging them to join the anti-Communist struggles and participate in the production and construction of South Vietnam.The various measures taken by the U.S.did not help women grow.Instead,they stabilized and beautified the South Vietnamese government.Women were only tools in the psychological warfare.
