The Compilation and Editing of The Gateway to Medical Documents and Its Related Questions

1919年,吕思勉协助谢利恒编《中国医学词典》撰成"古代中医典籍及源流派别"一稿,书稿交谢氏,自留一份手稿。1927年,谢氏以他名义将书稿分篇刊发,后又经过修改增补,于1935年刊印为《中国医学源流论》,此书遂成谢氏的代表作。吕氏自留的手稿,生前也有修改,去世后又经后人校订整理,2009年以《医籍知津》为题刊印出版。梳理、比较书稿的各种版本,可以考见版本的演变及其相互关系,也可蠡测当事人在撰写、发表、修改、整理刊印时的不同学术观念。

In 1919,Lyu Simian helped Xie Liheng compile Chinese Medical Dictionary.In this process,he finished the book titled"Ancient Chinese Medical Documents,Origin and Schools".He submitted the book to Xie and kept a manuscript for himself.In 1927,Xie published the book in his name.With revisions and additions,the book was re-published in 1935 as Xie’s major work under the title of"The origin of Chinese Medicine".Lyu’s manuscript,revised by himself and edited by his successors after his death,however,was put to publication in 2009,titled"The Gateway to Medical Documents".By comparing the various editions of the book,this article uncovers these scholars’different academic ideas and their respective mentality in the process of writing,publication,revision,editing and printing.
