本文以档案、方志和回忆录为基础,重建木偶戏艺人袁克勤的生命史。1949—1959年间,艺术家和国家政权基本保持着合作共赢的关系,偶尔会有冲突但能找到妥协和解决的方法,面对复杂的政治和社会环境,袁克勤展现了非凡的适应性和创造能力,成功创建了现代化木偶剧团,并将木偶艺术带入到国际舞台。1963年后,由于戏剧文化政策的左倾,袁克勤在抗争中走完了富有悲剧性的一生。他的生命史展示了地方艺人、戏剧文化和国家政治之间复杂的互动关系,也展现了戏剧文化在动荡历史中更新的活力。
This article reconstructed the life history of a puppet?opera performer Yuan Keqin based on archives,local gazetteers and memoirs.From 1949 to 1959,artists and the state maintained a relatively win-win relationship.There were occasional conflicts,but compromises and solutions could always be found.In the face of the complex political and social environment,Yuan Keqin demonstrated extraordinary adaptability and creativity.He successfully established a modern puppet opera theater and brought puppet art to the international stage.After 1963,due to the rise of the left cultural policy,Yuan Keqin had gone through a tragic life in various struggles.His life history showed a complex interaction among local artists,opera culture and national politics.It also presented the vitality of opera in the turbulent history.
