Awareness of Depression Based on Theory of Five Zang Organs Transforming Five Qi

抑郁症是一种以显著而持久的心境低落为主要临床特征的情感性障碍疾病,属中医情志学范畴。中医学无抑郁症病名,但在历代文献记载中,其典型症状可与中医郁证、不寐、脏躁、卑惵互参。《黄帝内经》对情志理论的研究具有重要的引领作用,对情志产生及变化的认识基于“五脏藏神”理论,其包含的五脏、神、气机均是影响情志的关键因素。诚如《素问·阴阳应象大论篇》曰:“人有五脏化五气,以生喜怒悲忧恐”,明确论述了精神心理活动与脏腑之间的关系即主导情感活动的七情由脏腑藏精化气所产生,并提出了异常情志与气机变化及一脏一志相对应的关系。作者拟从《黄帝内经》“五脏化五气”角度对抑郁症的病因病机进行更深层次的剖析。

The depression,which belongs to the category of Traditional Chinese Emotion Medicine,is an affective disorder with significant and persistent depressed mood as its main clinical feature.Although there is no name for depression in traditional Chinese medicine,documents through the ages have shown that its typical symptoms can be interrelated with depression,insomnia,hysteria and timidity syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.In the study of emotion theory,Huangdi Neijing plays an important leading role.Awareness of the generation and changes of the emotions is based on the theory of“five Zang organs hiding spirits”,which means the five Zang organs,spirits and Qi are all key factors that affect emotions.Suwen·Yin-Yang Yingxiang Dalun states:“The five Zang organs transforms the five Qi and then generate the emotions including anger,sorrow,sorrow and fear”,which clearly expounds the relationship between the mental and psychological activities and the Zang organs.That is,the seven emotions which dominate emotional activities are resulting from the Zang-Fu organs hiding spirits and Qi which transformed from the spirits.Meanwhile,it also suggests the relationship between the abnormal emotions and the changes in the Qi and the corresponding Zang organ and its will.The author intends to conduct a deeper discussion of the etiology and pathogenesis of depression from the perspective of“the five Zang organs transforming the five Qi”in Huangdi Neijing.
