维生素D轴在癫痫治疗中的作用及其中医药研究价值

Role of Vitamin D Axis in Treatment of Epilepsy and its Research Value in Traditional Chinese Medicine

癫痫属中枢神经系统疾病,具有起病急骤、反复发作、预后较差等特点,临床主要表现为口吐白沫、肌肉强直性收缩、意识的快速丧失及脑电波的改变等。维生素D轴除传统的钙磷平衡调节功能外,还与癫痫等中枢神经系统疾病存在密切的相关性。有研究指出,癫痫患者存在骨质疏松的概率显著高于正常人。中医多采用补肾益髓为本,祛痰开窍、平肝息风为标治疗,在改善癫痫疾病症状方面有着较好疗效。补肾中药既对维生素D轴有调节作用,又具有改善癫痫症状的能力。文章拟围绕维生素D轴、癫痫治疗、补肾中药三者展开探讨,为发现新的治疗靶点提供依据。

Epilepsy is a central nervous system disease,with a sudden onset,repeated attacks,poor prognosis and other characteristics.The clinical manifestations are foaming mouth,muscle tonic contraction,rapid loss of consciousness and changes in brain waves.Vitamin D axis not only regulates calcium and phosphorus balance,but also has close correlation with epilepsy and other central nervous system diseases.Studies have shown that the probability of osteoporosis in epileptic patients is significantly higher than that in normal subjects.Traditional Chinese medicine mostly uses tonifying the kidney and nourishing the marrow as the basis,expelling phlegm and opening the orifice,calming the liver and restoring the wind as the standard treatment,which can improve the symptoms of epileptic diseases with better curative effect.The Chinese herbal medicine for tonifying kidney not only regulates vitamin D axis,but also has the ability to improve the symptoms of epilepsy.This article would focus on vitamin D axis,epilepsy treatment,Chinese herbal medicine for tonifying kidney in order to find out new therapeutic targets to provide the basis.
