On the Goodness of Charity

慈善是人类道德生活发展研究的大课题,要以"大慈善"概念为立论基础,研究慈善的多样化和层次性。现代社会慈善伦理评价的热点是慈善组织的公信力,这种公信力不仅包括诚信,也包括公平分配捐赠物资。要从中西文化的大视野考察中西慈善伦理的差异性,概括其特点;从中国社会发展的大格局认识慈善的社会价值。

Charity is a major topic in the study of the development of human moral life.Based on the concept of“great charity”,we should study the diversity and hierarchy of charity.The focus of charity ethics evaluation in modern society is the credibility of charitable organizations,which includes not only integrity,but also fair distribution of donated materials.We should investigate the differences between Chinese and western charity ethics from the perspective of Chinese and Western culture and summarize their characteristics.We should understand the social value of charity from the perspective of China's social development.
