基于顺应论的齐齐哈尔市“老字号”外宣英语翻译研究

摘要 本文通过网站搜索和实地考察的方式,统计和分析了齐齐哈尔市“老字号”名称英文翻译现状,归纳总结了齐齐哈尔市“老字号”名称英文翻译6种主要翻译方法,即汉语拼音全拼翻译法、汉语拼音大写字母缩写翻译法、汉语拼音加英文类别翻译法、英语直译法、英语意译法、以及英语音、意融合加类别翻译法。并基于顺应论理论对齐齐哈尔市“老字号”的名称、产品和网站内容外宣英语翻译进行了创新性的翻译实践和研究,从而对“老字号”外宣英语翻译提供有益的参考。 By means of website search and field investigation,this paper makes statistics and analysis of the current situation of English translation of the names of"time-honored brands"in Qiqihar City,and summarizes six main methods of English translation of the names of"time-honored brands"in Qiqihar City,namely,the Chinese Pinyin Quan pin translation method,the Chinese Pinyin capital letter abbreviation translation method,the Chinese Pinyin plus English category translation method,the English literal translation method,the English free translation method,and the English phonetic-semantic fusion plus category translation.On the basis of Adaptation Theory,the author has carried out innovative translation practice and research on the English translation of publicity in the name,product and website content of the"time-honored brands"in Qiqihar,so as to provide a useful reference for the English translation of publicity in the"timehonored brands".
