从“锁定”到“进阶”:如何突破主导逻辑的路径依赖——基于战略认知视角的案例研究 被引量:27

From "Locking" to "Progression" : How to Break Through the Path Dependence of Dominant Logic? A Case Study Based on the Perspective of Strategic Cognition

摘要 主导逻辑作为企业发展的基因备受瞩目,然而随着制度变迁、市场开放程度深化,其必然发生改变,因此如何克服对当前主导逻辑的路径依赖、创造适应情境变化的新逻辑逐渐成为令人关注的重要议题。本研究采用探索性单案例分析法,配合扎根理论对企业发展数据进行编码分析及归纳总结,发现:(1)主导逻辑的生成是内外部情境信息互动激发组织机会警觉,并通过战略性意义建构与组织层动态能力的匹配更新战略认知的过程;(2)战略认知随内外部情境信息互动突破认知凝滞并更新,是组织发挥能动作用构建差异化主导逻辑的关键;(3)伴随情境更迭与组织成长,阶段性主导逻辑依次涌现,与原有主导逻辑共同构成组织的多逻辑体系。本研究深化了对主导逻辑内涵、特征的基本认知,有助于创业企业理解主导逻辑的内在机理和发展规律,进而指导企业成长。 The continuous change of the knowledge economy society provides many possibilities for enterprises to carry out innovation and practice.At the same time,the business market environment also presents highly dynamic characteristics.The environmental changes of new technologies,new markets,new competition,and new rules force companies to jump out of their comfort zone.By constantly breaking the dominant logic previously locked in by companies,they create new paths to adapt to changes in the context to guide companies to achieve advanced development.For example:Facing the impact of the Internet era,Haier broke through the company’s previous organizational strategy for large-scale production and introduced a user-centric network strategy,successfully realizing the transformation from a traditional manufacturing enterprise to an Internet platform enterprise.With the rapid changes in the external situation of the organization,many companies have begun to integrate logic as the genes for corporate development.While providing development directions for companies,formulating strategic frameworks,and planning organizational actions,they often lock companies in a fixed logical framework.Therefore,how The path to break through logic depends on the formation of a new logical path that adapts to changes in the context,which has become a strategic issue that many scholars and entrepreneurs focus on in the context of the knowledge economy.Focusing on related topics of dominant logic,scholars based on the perspectives of strategic management,organizational management,and marketing management.Their main point of view is that dominant logic is a specific shared cognitive model in the organization,that is,the manager’s perception of the company’s industry Views,the definition of the business concept and the collection of internal and external key resource allocation and decision-making methods are the result of the paradigm of the leadership’s cognitive crystallization,which turns into a vague strategic cognition and specific organizational strategy,and discusses its the impact of strategic behavior of the organization and performance.The research above has formed many results that are worthy of long-term research,but there are still two shortcomings:First,existing research mainly from a static perspective will lead to logical identification of shared cognitive models to explore its generation mechanism,and lack of analysis of the situation from a dynamic perspective.The impact of change on the generation and evolution path of transformational logic,and exploring the development of logic with contextual changes is an important future research direction;Second,in terms of explaining the process mechanism of the formation and evolution of dominant logic,previous studies have emphasized the driving role of external situations in the generation of dominant logic.It is believed that the impact of accidental events presented in the context is higher than the initial conditions of the existing dominant logic path.At this time,it will trigger internal changes,and explain how the dominant logic is driven by the external context,which leads to insufficient strength in internal cognitive update to break through the path dependence,and lack of exploration of the role of internal strategic cognition in the formation of dominant logic.It is the basic premise to explain the formation and influence of organizational development genes,organizational strategy differences and other applied research on dominant logic.This research adopts exploratory single-case analysis method with grounded theory,selects Mongolian grass as the research object to code,analyze and summarize corporate development data.The research finds:(1)The generation of dominant logic is the interaction of internal and external contextual information to stimulate organizational opportunities Vigilance,and the process of updating strategic cognition by matching the construction of strategic meaning with the dynamic capabilities of the organization.That is,the flow of external contextual information entering the enterprise does not directly affect the dominant logic and strategic behavior of the organization.Instead,it relies on the organization’s differentiated understanding of the context and uses dynamic capabilities to internalize it to form a specific organizational context,thereby affecting the dominant logic construction.(2)Strategic cognition interacts with internal and external contextual information to break through cognitive stagnation and update is the key to the organization’s active role and construction of differentiated dominant logic.Affected by the resources and capabilities of enterprises at different development stages,the internal initiative of the organization has gradually increased.The renewal of corporate strategic cognition has experienced a combination of internal and external factors driven by external circumstances,and then by internal forward-looking cognition.Changes,strategic adjustments have also tilted from passive to active.(3)With the change of context and organizational growth,phased dominant logic emerged in turn,realizing the sequential derivation of"dominant logic of market benefit acquisition","dominant logic of technological innovation",and"dominant logic of value sharing network".During this period,various types of dominant logic coexisted and coordinated with each other to form the enterprise’s multi-logic system,realizing the evolution from a single logic to a multi-logic system.This research deepens the basic cognition of the connotation and characteristics of the dominant logic,and helps startups understand the internal mechanism and development rules of the dominant logic,and then guide the growth of the enterprise.
