摘要
近代美国形成了以州和学区为主体的地方分权教育管理体制,公立学校由地方负责。但是,美国的公立学校教育不仅是为了满足地方公众和社会需要,也在美国的国家观念形成和国家认同过程中发挥了特殊的作用。美国的公立学校教育起源于殖民地和独立战争时期,它与美国民族的形成具有密切关联。探讨美国公立学校国家认同教育中的经验、模式和存在的问题,对于进一步认识我国学校教育的功能,以及提升学校为国家与社会服务的水平,具有一定的参考借鉴价值。
A decentralized educational management system formed in the US in modern times,with states and school districts functioningas the main players,and public schools under the administration of the local governments.The public school education in the US not only satisfies the needs of the local public and society,but also plays a special role in shaping the concept of American nation and national identity.The public education can be traced back to the colonial period and American Revolution,closely linked to the formation of American nation.A Study on the experiences,patterns and problems of national identity education inthe US public schools can serve as a reference forus to better understand the function of school education in China,and improveits service to the state and the society.
