中国式现代化境域下哲学教育的重心与使命

The Focus and Mission of Philosophy Education in the Chinese Path to Modernization

哲学教育源于古希腊,但哲学教育的学院化和专业化成熟于18至19世纪。哲学教育以提振人的精神生命为其基本特征。相对于西方哲学强调学以致知的理智分析路径,中国的哲学教育更强调学以成人的统观性与整全性。中国哲学教育的专业化建制至今已逾百年,但它依然整体上受制于西方,这也造成了哲学教育的某种危机。在中国式现代化境域下,哲学教育需要明确其重心与使命:哲学教育的重心在于深入领会中国式现代化的世界历史性意义,而哲学教育的政治意蕴本身却是超政治的,这或许也是哲学课程思政化的根本旨趣;哲学教育的使命在于汲取中国传统智慧,使新时代中国特色社会主义思想深入人心、走向个体生活,从而重铸其精神生命、提振其精神境界。哲学教育重心的凸显和其使命的完成有赖于哲学教育的博雅化,而这又要求哲学思想上的中西会通。

Philosophy education originated from ancient Greece;the institutionalization and specialization of philosophy education matured from the 18th to 19th centuries.Philosophical education is characterized by boosting human spiritual life.Compared with western philosophy,which emphasizes the rational analysis of learning what we learn,Chinese philosophy emphasizes the integration and integrity of being human.The philosophy education in China has been institutionalized for more than a hundred years,but remains largely subject to the West,causing certain crises in the philosophy education.In the context of Chinese path to modernization,it is necessary to clarify the focus and mission of philosophy education.The focus lies in a thorough understanding the historical significance of the Chinese path to modernization;the political implication of philosophy education transcends politics,which may also be the fundamental purpose of ideological and political education in the philosophy curriculum.The mission is to draw on the traditional Chinese wisdom,and convey socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era to the hearts of people and towards individual lives,so as to reshape and heighten the spiritual life.The prominence of philosophy education and the fulfillment of its mission lie in its incorporation into general liberal arts education,which in turn requires the integration of Chinese and Western philosophy.
