摘要
早期教育既是一种为了儿童享有美好未来的福祉,也是迈向更公平的教育未来的一种社会契约。选取美国、英国和澳大利亚在早期教育研究领域最具影响力的三本SSCI期刊,对其在2011—2020年所刊载的1863篇论文进行文献计量分析后发现:早期教育领域已形成以Laura M.Justice、Margaret Burchinal与Lynne Vernon-Feagans等为核心作者,以俄亥俄州立大学、北卡罗来纳大学、莫纳什大学等为中心的凝聚子群,以实证研究类为主的多种研究方法并存的研究力量;研究热点集中在早期儿童教育和儿童发展、儿童早期认知、情绪和行为发展、儿童保育、学业成就和入学准备、课堂评估系统、课堂质量和情感支持等方面。根据研究结果,提出以下建议:重新定位早期教育的学术价值与学术地位;提升学术理论与实际问题的科学化和实证化研究水平;运用国际化视野审视本土化早期教育的问题。
Early education is not only a means of providing a better future for children but also a social contract towards a more equitable educational future.A bibliometric analysis of 1863 papers published between 2011 and 2020 in the three most influential SSCI journals in the field of early education reveals that a core group of authors including Laura M.Justice,Margaret Burchinal and Lynne Vernon-Feagans from universities such as Ohio State University,University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Monash University form a cohesive subgroup.The field also encompasses a variety of research methods with a predominant focus on empirical research.Hot topics include early childhood education and development,early childhood cognition,emotional and behavioral development,child care,academic achievement and school readiness,classroom assessment systems,classroom quality and emotional support.Based on these findings,three recommendations are proposed:reposition the academic value and status of early education,enhance the scientific and empirical research level of theoretical and practical issues,and examine localized early education problems through an international perspective.
