The zunfou with twelve ridges and chi dragon design, which is collected by National Museum of China in recent time,is unearthed from the tomb of the wife of Liu He,the marquis of Haihun. We consider that the zunfou in same shape unearthed from Liu He’s tomb and the zunfou above mentioned belong to the same group of bronze wares. These two objects and the round zunfou with chi dragon design are all dated around the end of Spring and Autumn Period. These three wares maybe came from old collection of Han court,Changyi Kingdom or the marquis country of Haihun. The ridge decoration is rare among the bronze ritual wares in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, especially in the State of Chu.By far these zunfou wares with twelve ridges are the only two examples of the ritual wares from the State of Chu.
