As the water artery,west Zhejiang waterway connected Anhui,Jiangxi and Fujian,and had a very powerful traffic function.As a functional geographic concept,the waterway clearly reflected the spatial distribution of urban in Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties and the traffic net structure between west Zhejiang and south Anhui.From the perspective of literary studies,this waterway was used by many literati because of its rich attractions.It provided soil to the production and development of literature,and it had the function to nurture local literati and breed literature concept.In consequence,this waterway had close relation to literature production in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties.It was a real lane to the production and spread of literature whether from the perspective of the function of literary creation or the actual effect.
