More perspectives on prototype theory and translation studies

有关原型的界定学界历来含糊不清,主要存在三种类型,分别是:"原型样本范畴论""图式范畴论"和"原型样本范畴论+图式范畴论"。经定性分析,发现"原型样本范畴论"容易受具象思维的束缚,"原型样本范畴论+图式范畴论"似乎面面俱到却欠学术严谨性,"图式范畴论"却更具概括性和理论价值,能比较妥当地指导翻译研究实践。

Currently,there are fuzzy ideas about the definition of prototype in the academic circle.These ideas can be categorized into three types.Type one equals prototype to a specific member of a category,type two believes prototype to be abstract schema whereas type three thinks that prototype is both specific member and abstract schema.With qualitative analysis of articles from CNKI,Chinese biggest academic corpus system,it is proved that type one is easily fettered by detailed mental images,type three seems to be comprehensive but lacks academic preciseness but type two is more inclusive and enjoys more theoretical value.
