摘要 英语写作一直是高中生的弱项,将背诵法这一传统教学手段应用于高中生的写作教学中,通过实证研究及数据分析,发现在经过一段时间的背诵训练后,学生在写作中的语法错误有所减少,句子构成更为科学,单词、语块的使用更为准确。从而论证了背诵能为英语学习者语言写作能力的持续发展奠定坚实基础,探明了背诵能有效提高学习者英语写作能力,最终能帮助中学生提高英语写作水平。 English writing remains the weak spot of the high school students.In this study the author applies recitation,a traditional teaching method,to the writing learning of high school students.By empirical study and data analysis,it shows that less grammatical mistakes have been made and that sentence organization becomes more scientific and also the usage of words and chunks is more accurate after a period of recitation training.Therefore the results demonstrate that recitation helps lay a solid foundation for learners’ further development in language written performance and that recitation is a good effective strategy to practice written English and can finally help high school students improve English writing level.
