政治文献态度传译研究——以“人类命运共同体”专题为考察中心

Attitude Transmission in Political Document Translation——Based on the Chapter of“A Community of Shared Future”

政治文献翻译是外交态度表达与国家形象建构的窗口,在共建人类命运共同体新形势下,重要性愈加凸显。本研究以《习近平谈治国理政》中"人类命运共同体"相关专题为研究对象,依托评价理论考察原文态度是否有效传达。研究发现:原文态度资源大多等效再现于译文中,同时存在少量为弥合中西语言文化习惯产生的偏离与省译。总体来看,译文即使存在少量偏离再现原文态度的案例,也并未歪曲原文态度,而是实现了交际层面的态度等效。本研究对政治文献翻译中态度的识解与再现具有镜鉴价值,对政治文献翻译研究亦具有一定启示作用。

The translation of political document is vital to diplomatic attitude expression and national image construction.In the new era of building a community of shared future,its necessity and significance become even more apparent.Taking the chapter“A Community of Shared Future”in The Governance of China as an example,the paper analyzes the transmission of the attitude resources in the English version.It is found that most attitude resources are fully reproduced with a few translating deviations and omissions,which are intentional re-writings for bridging the language and cultural di erences.On the whole,the translator(s)has(have)successfully achieved equivalence in attitude at the communicative level. e ndings are of great value for understanding and reproducing attitude resources in political document translation,and may provide reference for further study in the eld.
