The possession,use and control of valuable intelligence has always been an important part of warfare,and it will continue to be crucial in determining the outcome of battles in the future.ISR assets are one of the key capabilities to ensure that military powers maintain the intelligence dominance.The demends for ISR assets by military powers will increase exponentially before,during and after the war.Oriented to the future joint all-domain operations,the military powers led by the United States are increasing their investment in ISR,in order to obtain all-round“data-centric”military superiority and ultimately win the war.This essay focuses on strategic planning,operational philosophy,organization renewal,equipment research and development as well as emerging technologies,comprehensively analyzes the development of ISR field in 2022,hoping to provide some clues and inspiration for China’s military equipment construction and scientific research innovation.
