Teaching ability is the main embodiment of teachers’professional ability,which will affect the teaching quality of higher education.This paper discusses the composition of teaching ability of local college teachers,the difficulties encountered by local college teachers in education and teaching,and puts forward the strategies to improve teaching ability.
