The development history of the system of university counselors demonstrates that a scientifically effective incentive mechanism can inspire university counselors to constantly take due responsibilities consciously and actively.Judging from the diachronic dimension,the evolving features of incentive mechanism for university counselors are most reflected in such key links as the selection and recruitment,administration,cultivation and development of university counselors.From the synchronic perspective,colleges and universities in the new era have learnt from the historical experience in building the team of university counselors and made further innovation,developing the incentive mechanism for university counselors.In the new historical circumstances,to gain greater insight into the evolving features of incentive mechanism for university counselors and to make contrastive analysis of the innovations made by colleges and universities on strengthening the building of incentive mechanism for university counselors are of great significance to facilitating a fully-fledged system for building the team of university counselors in the new era and promote sound development of the team of university counselors.
