Research on the Construction of Departmental Reference Room in Research Universities

研究型大学院系资料室是高校图书馆的空间及服务的延伸。文章在对985高校院系图书馆的调研结果基础上,分析了当前院系图书馆现状及存在的问题,提出院系图书馆应着重于建设学科资源和提供学科服务,注重资源的学术性、专业性、前沿性、连续性、系统性、完整性、特色性,做到“人无我有,人有我精”,这样可以充分发挥学科服务的专业性特点,积极助力于院系学科教学科研。

The reference room of research universities serves as the extension of the space and service of university libraries.Based on the research results of the departmental reference rooms of the universities of Project 985,this paper analyzes the present situation and the existing problems of these libraries.It argues that the departmental libraries should concentrate on the construction of disciplinary resources and provision of related services to supply academic,professional,cutting-edge,continuous,systematic,complete and characteristic resources in order to achieve the goal of"pursuing superiority in both quantity and quality of the resources".In this way,we can give full play to the professional characteristics of disciplinary services and actively contribute to the teaching and research in various academic departments.
