With the continuous advancement of China’s education reform,quality education has been popularized,which puts forward higher requirements for English teaching.In primary school English teaching,teachers should pay attention to infiltrating the content of core literacy.They should not only let students master basic English knowledge in English learning,but also exercise students’thinking ability and enhance students’emotional awareness.Based on this,this paper explains the significance of primary school English reading teaching under the core literacy,deeply analyzes the problems in primary school English reading teaching,and expounds the effective strategies of primary school English reading teaching under the core literacy in detail.
