Preliminary Results of the Archaeological Survey of the Neolithic Remains in the Yu River Valley in Delong,Ningxia

渝河是宁夏隆德县境内流域面积最大的一条河流,发源于六盘山西麓。在渝河及其支流分布有较多的新石器时代遗址,这些遗址大多分布于渝河南北两侧的坡地或台地上,其时代为仰韶至龙山时期。通过对渝河流域的系统考古调查,我们对该地区新石器时代遗存的分布状况和文化内涵有了进一步的认识。

Significant number of archaeological sites dating to the Neolithic period are located along the Yu river valley in the Longde county of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The majority of them was situated on both sides of the river banks or terraces,and dated from the Yangshao to Longshan period.The systematic archaeological survey along the Yu river valley enhances the current understanding of the distribution of Neolithic remains and their cultural contents.
