唐《慕容智墓志》考释

Interpretation of the Murong Zhi’s Epitaph of the Tang Dynasty

甘肃省武威地区出土的唐吐谷浑喜王慕容智墓志记载了墓主的家族世系和入侍经历,填补了吐谷浑王族世系的空白。志文首次提及吐谷浑王族又一先茔"大可汗陵"的存在,明确了吐谷浑王族在武威地区至少存在两个陵区的事实。志石侧面还发现有两列未能释读的文字,初步推测应为失传已久的吐谷浑文。该墓志的发现为研究唐吐谷浑王族历史及游牧民族文字构造提供了弥足珍贵的资料。

The epitaph of Murong Zhi,who was also the King Xi of Tuyu Hun,was unearthed in Wuwei city,Gansu Province.This epitaph mainly records the family lineage and official career of the tomb owner Murong Zhi,which significantly fills gap about the Tuyu Hun royal family lineage in traditional texts.It is the first time that the‘Great Khan Mausoleum’of Tuyu Hun royal family was mentioned in textual records,which also clarifies the fact that there are at least two mausoleums of the Tuyu Hun royal family in the Wuwei region.Two columns of unrecognized characters on one side of the epigraph might have been Tuyu Hun scripts,which have become undecipherable for a long time.The discovery of the epitaph provides valuable information for the study of the history of the Tuyu Hun royal family and the structure of the Xianbei writing system.
