甘肃武周时期吐谷浑喜王慕容智墓发掘简报

Preliminary Report on the Excavation of the Mausoleum of King Xi of the Tuyu Hun, Murong Zhi,of the Wuzhou Period

2019年9~12月,甘肃省文物考古研究所等对甘肃天祝藏族自治县岔山村浩门组山顶上的1座墓葬进行了抢救性发掘。此墓保存完整,出土了数量较多的陶、漆木、金属、石器、革制品、丝织品及殉牲、粮食作物等。根据墓志可知,墓主系吐谷浑王族成员喜王慕容智,葬于唐天授二年(691年)。墓葬建造精美且未被盗扰,出土遗物丰富,反映了唐代早期武威地区吐谷浑王族成员墓葬的特征,极大丰富了吐谷浑墓葬考古资料,也为研究和复原唐代高等级墓葬及其葬制葬俗等提供了重要借鉴。

The joint archaeological team led by the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted a rescue excavation of a tomb at the Chashan village,Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County,between September and December 2019.Relatively well preserved,the tomb includes one brick chamber and yields a large number of pottery,wood lacquerware,various metal ware,stone tools,leather objects,silk fabrics,sacrificial animals,and food crops.According to the unearthed epitaph,the tomb dated to the second year of the Tianshou era(691AD),and the tomb occupant should be Murong Zhi,a member of the Tuyu Hun royal family.Due to the exquisite construction style and intact context of the tomb,the rich artifacts in the assemblage represented,to a very large extent,the funeral practices of the Tuyu Hun royal members in the Wuwei region during the early Tang Dynasty.In addition,the discovery adds a significant supplement to the archaeological data on the Tuyu Hun tombs in this region.It also provides an important reference for the study and reconstruction of the high-status tombs as well as the funeral custom in the region during the Tang Dynasty.
