纳“台湾革命”入“国民革命”:“民族自决”论与20世纪20年代后两岸革命者的台湾革命认知

Integrating “Taiwan Revolution” into “National Revolution”:“National Self-Determination” and the Exploration of Taiwan Revolution by the Revolutionaries on Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait after 1920s

1920年前后,中国大陆与台湾的革命者开始探索两岸合作抗日,争取民族独立之路,这是双方共同努力的结果。其时,戴季陶等人公开提出收复台湾的主张。两岸革命知识分子在"民族自决"论的启发下致力于将大陆炽热的国民革命与台湾新兴的反日民族运动结合起来。"台湾革命"被纳入"国民革命"之中,成为"中国革命"的一部分。他们呼吁全面动员台湾民众,实现"台湾革命化",并投身祖国的"国民革命"运动,一同打倒日本帝国主义,最终收回台湾,争取中华民族的完全独立。这一努力虽因国共分裂而落空,但"民族自决"的反帝反殖民理论仍然得到进一步发展。全面抗战期间,台湾革命明确为"独立与光复"相统一,即两岸同胞共同为实现整个中华民族的独立、解放伟大事业而奋斗。

Around 1920,the revolutionaries on the mainland and Taiwan began to explore cross-strait cooperation to resist Japan and strive for national independence.This was the result of the joint efforts of both sides.At that time,Dai Jitao and others publicly proposed taking back Taiwan.Inspired by the theory of"national self-determination,"revolutionary intellectuals on both sides of the strait were committed to combining the mainland’s raging national revolution with the emerging anti-Japanese national movement in Taiwan.The"Taiwan Revolution"therefore became a part of the"Chinese Revolution."They called for mobilizing the local people of Taiwan to"revolutionize Taiwan"and encouraging them to join the"National Revolution"on the mainland to overthrow Japanese imperialism,recover Taiwan,and strive together for the complete independence of the Chinese nation.Although this effort failed due to the split-up between the KMT and the Communist Party,the anti-imperialist and anti-colonial theory of"national self-determination"still made much headway.During the all-out resistance,the Taiwan Revolution clearly united"national independence"with"Taiwan’s recovery,"meaning that compatriots on both sides of the strait should work together to achieve the great cause of independence and liberation for the entire Chinese nation.
