河北黄骅市大左庄隋唐时期制盐遗址发掘简报

Brief Report on the Excavation of the Sui and Tang Salt-making Site at Dazuozhuang in Huanghua City, Hebei

2016~2017年对大左庄遗址的发掘,遗迹有井、灶、灰坑和灰沟等,出土遗物有瓷器、陶器、铁器、骨器、蚌器、铜器和铜钱等。根据遗迹特征推断遗址为一处隋唐时期的制盐作坊,作坊使用时间较长,布局有一定的规划性。遗址中与制盐有关的遗迹保存较好,基本可以复原出一套完整的制盐流程。

Excavation of the Dazuozhuang site in southeastern Yang’erzhuang Hui Township in Huanghua City,Hebei was conducted by the Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology et al.from 2016-2017.It yielded varied types of features,including water wells,hearths,midden pits,and midden ditches,along with a number of artifacts made of porcelain,pottery,iron,bone,shell,and copper,as well as copper coins.Based on the characteristics of excavated features,it is inferred that the structure consisted of a salt-making workshop dating to the Sui period,which was in use for a long time and regularly patterned in layout.Cultural remains related to salt-making have been preserved in relatively good condition.Thus,the essentials of a complete production sequence of salt-making can be reconstructed.This excavation provides crucial material for the study of salt-making techniques,the spatial layout and management of salt-making workshops,as well as the daily life of salt workers along coastal regions of North China during the Sui and Tang period.
