百年锈带转变为生活秀带:公共艺术助力杨浦滨江转型升级

FROM RUST BELT TO LIVING CORRIDOR: PUBLIC ART HELPS YANGPU RIVERSIDE TRANSFORM AND UPGRADE

拥有15.5km黄浦江岸线的杨浦滨江以其丰富的工业建筑遗存,记载了上海百年市政、百年工业的城市发展历史,也承载了上海工人阶级投身建设新中国、轰轰烈烈的红色记忆。过去,滨江建设更关注开发了多少公共空间,修建了多少公园、绿化和道路,如今滨江建设更从人民的角度出发,建设以人为本的软硬件设施,引入百姓喜闻乐见的公共空间,从细节处体现人性和温度。杨浦滨江南段岸线长5.5km(指杨树浦路以南、黄浦江岸线以北、秦皇岛路以东、定海路以西的区域).

With 15.5 km of Huangpu River shoreline,Yangpu Riverside along with its rich remains of industrial relics,is a record of Shanghai’s century-old municipal and industrial history of urban development,and also carries the red memory of the Shanghai working class who devoted to the construction of the new China.In the past,waterfront construction was more concerned with how much public space had been developed and how many parks,greenery and roads had been built.Today,the waterfront construction is more from the perspective of the people.The implementation of people-oriented infrastructures and the introduction of public spaces for the civic life both show the traces of humanity and care.The south bund of Yangpu Riverside is 5.5 km long(refers to South of Yangshupu Road,North of Huangpu River shoreline,East of Qinhuangdao Road and West of Dinghai Road).The withdrawal of its industrial and warehousing functions provides about 1.8 km2 of land for urban transformation and development in the center of Shanghai.Outlined in Construction Plan Along the Banks of Huangpu River(2018–2035),Yangpu Riverside is planned to be an innovation district of science and technology,one of the most important areas for transformation and development as Shanghai enters the urban renewal phase.The innovation of Yangpu Riverside development model organically integrate the 5.5 km of waterfront public space in the southern section of the river and the historical buildings along the river with the 2019 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season(SUSAS 2019),taking artistic vitality as the force and playing the role of cultural leadership.
