Based on the analysis of the various types and development processes of the traditional houses in Yong’an,Fujian Province,it is pointed out that their inner spirit is the unity with nature and the coordination with human relations.This spirit has strong vitality and expressiveness.Anzhen Fort is a building with a defense function added to the typical house.Its location,layout,and construction also follow this inner spirit,showing an inevitable and unique style.
