This paper analyzes the hidden dangers in the municipal bridge design,and probes into the countermeasures to improve the municipal bridge design in five aspects:implementing the design principles,strengthening the transformation of functionality and appearance,establishing the audit system,optimizing the design concept,and quoting new technology and equipment,provide effective reference for relevant engineering design.
