SOWAKA

SOWAKA是由主馆、新馆和附属的别馆组成的宿泊设施。主馆建于大正时代,最初是一座名为“美濃幸”的料亭,历经多次改扩建,曾一度因拟被拆除并改建为公寓而陷入危机。该项目计划将建筑改造为宿泊设施以传承给后代。基于建筑基准法会导致因用途变更引起的回溯性问题(如防火要求、内装限制等),那么传承这一建筑的意义会被大幅削弱,因此我们活用法规将其排除在建筑基准法的适用范围之外,并由设计师和行政部门来共同制定超过基准法要求的针对地震和火灾的安全计划,最终在建筑审查委员会的认可下得以实现这一建筑。

SOwAKA is a lodging facility composed of a main building,a new annex,and detached rooms.The main building,originally constructed as a Ryōtei(traditional restaurant)named"Minoko"during the Taisho period,is a Sukiya-style(traditional Japanese architectural style)structure that has been repeatedly expanded and renovated.It was once at risk of being demolished for a condominium redevelopment but was instead preserved and transformed into a lodging facility to ensure its architectural legacy.Due to retrospective issues(like fire resistance and interior restrictions)caused by changes in use under the Building Standards Law,we utilized ordinances to exempt it from the law's application.
