向阳凉廊住宅

Sunny Loggia House

这是一个住宅项目,位于20世纪50年代开发的东京郊外的住宅区。当周围的区域被分割成更小的地块时,该地块保留了原有的面积,并按照以前的布局,把单层建筑改成了两层建筑,从而使花园得以扩建。整个场地一分为二,花园位于南面,建筑位于北面,两者之间由一个有屋顶的半室外空间连接,该空间被称为凉廊。凉廊位于场地中央,是体积最大的房间,但没有特定的功能。在凉廊的花园一侧,一面高3.5m、宽7m的吊墙(兼作斜撑)构成了一个巨大的无玻璃拱窗,将花草香气、鸟兽、光影等不断变化的外部环境引入室内。

This is a residential project,located in a residential area developed in the 1950s in suburban Tokyo.while the surrounding areas were divided into smaller parcels,this parcel retained its original area.The single-story building was changed into a two-story one according to the previous layout,and thus the garden got expanded too.The entire site is divided into two parts,the garden on the south side and the building on the north side.The two are connected by a roofed semi-outdoor space called loggia.The loggia,located in the center of the site,is the largest space in the house,yet it has no specific function.On the garden side of the loggia,a 3.5m-high and 7m-wide hanging wall(also serving as a brace)forms a huge arch glassless window,introducing the constantly changing external environment into the interior,such as the flower fragrance,birds and animals,light and shadow.
