RETURN TO THE GENUINE AND STICK TO THE INTENTIONS: ON THE SHAPING OF CONTEMPORARY CHINESE ARCHITECTS

改革开放以来,中国建筑业飞速发展,取得了令人瞩目的巨大成就。近年来建筑师正面临诸多困难、困惑与挑战——建筑市场两极分化、制度错位;建筑行业价值体系模糊,观念分歧显著;信息时代更新迭代频繁,技术冲击剧烈……建筑师应从自身出发,回归本色,坚守初心,脚踏实地,仰望星空,塑造美好的建筑与城市,体现建筑师的价值与意义。

Since the reform and opening up,China’s construction industry has developed rapidly and made remarkable achievements.In recent years,architects are facing many difficulties,confusions and challenges:the polarization of the construction market and the dislocation of the system;the value system and the cognition of the construction industry is markedly different;the information age is frequently updated and iterative,and technical shocks are violent…Architects should start with themselves,return to the genuine,stick to the intentions,keep feet on the ground,look up at the stars,shape beautiful buildings and cities,and reflect the value and significance of architects.
