摘要
科技的起源和进步来自人们对生命运动形式的观察。如果对连续运动的感知是我们获得知识的最直接方式,那么离散的智能又是否可以让我们了解连续的现实呢?本文从技术的角度出发,寻找离散和连续的关系。通过对物理、数学、几何学的几个重要转折点的研究,试图找出隐藏在伽利略、牛顿、高斯、黎曼这些伟大科学家背后的技术思路,从而反思技术不再作为一种工具,而是作为思考方式时,我们如何能更好地将技术和现实融合在一起呢?带着对技术的反思,我们将这种对科技的批判精神付诸实际的项目及武汉大学建筑学一年级的教学中,希望能在两个不同的场所培养出新的幼苗。
The origin and progress of science and technology comes from the observation of movement of life.If the continuous sensation is the most direct way we gain knowledge,so can discrete intelligence makes us understand continuous reality?If discrete is a feature of technology,and reality has to be continuous,then how can we make discrete continuity through architecture.This paper looks for discrete and continuous relationships from a technical point of view.Through the study of several important turning points in physics,mathematics,and geometry,I try to find out the technical ideas behind the great scientists like Galileo,Newton,Gauss,and Riemann.Therefore,we must reflect on technology not as a tool,but a way of thinking how to integrate technology and reality together.With the reflection on technology,we carry this critical thinking of science into architectural practice,as well as 1 st-year teaching program in School of Urban design of Wuhan University.
