Research on the Modernization of Chinese Higher Education

中国式高等教育现代化是中国式现代化的有机组成。基于党的全面领导的中国特色现代大学制度建设、基于国家需求导向的高等教育发展战略选择、基于“人民至上”立场的高等教育分类体系构建、基于共同富裕思想的区域高等教育协调发展是“中国式”高等教育现代化的特征。高等教育学者需要秉持学科独特的立场,解释中国式现代化视野下的高等教育现代化现象,探讨中国式高等教育现代化的本质特征,构建中国高等教育现代化发展的理论模式和学说。我国高等教育现代化已具备“中国式”基本样态,仍需强化“中国式”基本遵循,更需注重“中国式”使命担当。我国的高等教育发展宜遵循高等教育办学规律、人才培养规律、科学研究规律,以国家战略与社会发展的需求、人民群众的期待为导向,循序渐进地开展创新与改革,更加重视质量的提高和结构的改革。

Chinese-style higher education modernization is an organic component of Chinese-style modernization.The characteristics of Chinese-style higher education modernization are prominently reflected:the construction of a modern university system with Chinese characteristics based on the overall leadership of the party,the strategic choice of higher education development based on national needs,the construction of a higher education classification system based on the position of the supremacy of the people,the coordinated development of regional higher education based on the idea of common prosperity.Higher education scholars need to uphold the unique standpoint of the discipline,find out the common characteristics,and explain the phenomenon of Chinese higher education modernization from the perspective of Chinese-style modernization,explore the essential laws of Chinese-style higher education modernization,and build the modernization of Chinese higher education theoretical models and doctrines.The modernization of China’s higher education already has the basic appearance of the“Chinese style”,still needs to strengthen the basic compliance of the“Chinese style”,and needs to pay more attention to the“Chinese style”mission.The development of higher education in my country should follow the laws of higher education,personnel training,and scientific research,and be guided by the national strategy,the needs of social development,and the expectations of the people,carry out innovation and reform step by step,and pay more attention to quality improvement and structural reforms.
