认知语法视角下英语专业语法课教学模式探究

摘要 教育部倡导高校打造"金课",作为英语专业的基础课,英语语法这门课程也应该顺应潮流,打造语法"金课"。根据认知语法的基本特征:语法是有意义的;语言是基于使用的;语言结构反映概念结构,尝试探索出适合应用型本科英语专业语法课教学模式:语篇—语义—交际。该模式着重通过语篇呈现语法,培养学生自主总结能力;突显语法可引导学生了解语言形式背后的理据;加强语言知识与语言应用能力结合,旨在提高学生的语言能力。 The Ministry of Education proposes that"golden courses"should be created in colleges and universities.As a basic course for English major students,English Grammar should also follow the trend to be a"golden course".Based on the fundamental features of Cognitive Grammar:grammar is meaningful;language is usage-based;language structure reflects cognitive structure,a new teaching mode for English Grammar course for English major of applied type in undergraduate colleges is developed,which is"Discourse-Meaning—Interaction".This mode focuses on fostering students’individual generalization ability by presenting the target grammar through discourse;stresses the meaningfulness of grammar,which can lead students to understand the motivation of language form;develops students’language competence through the collaboration of knowledge of language and use of language.
