摘要
The authors regret that in the paper of Baldovino et al.(2019),published in Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering(JRMGE),Eq.(2)must be corrected.Eq.(2)in the original paper describes a formula to calculate the unconfined compressive strength(q_u).But Authors wrote it as if it were the formula for calculating the split tensile strength(qt).To amend this error,Eq.(1)and Eq.(2)are the correct expressions for q_u and q_t measurements,respectively.
