The skin taken from the region a little above the glabella and from theupper part of the medial side of the thigh of cadavers(different ages and sex)was prepared for the study of elastic tissue.It was found that the materialfrom the former has much more elastic tissue than that from the latter.Thepostnatal environmental factors such as light,wind,rain,etc.are considered tobe mainly responsible for the above difference.
