清华藏定东陵烫样基础信息实录

A Brief Discussion of the Dingdongling Tangyang Stored at Tsinghua University

本文通过全面梳理清华大学建筑学院收藏的清代陵寝烫样之形式特征、题签和题注信息,并对照相关历史图文档案、现有研究成果,对比故宫博物院等处的陵寝烫样收藏,确定烫样为同治十二年所成之定东陵宝城方案之一。进而,本文作者在谨慎采集烫样材料样本的基础上,针对制作烫样所采用的主要材料进行了初步研究,并结合史料对现有烫样材料研究进行了反思。

The paper investigates an extraordinary paper model(tangyang,literally ironed model)that has survived from the late Qing dynasty and is currently stored at the Tsinghua University School of Architecture.Through analysis of the physical shape and the hand-written labels and notes attached to it,and through comparison with information obtained from historical texts and similar models now at display in the Palace Museum,the model could be identified as one of the two models made in the twelfth year of the reign of emperor Tongzhi to represent the architectural design of the artificial mound(Baocheng)of the Dingdong Mausoleum.After conducting material sample testing and experiments to reproduce ironed paper,the authors then reflect on the historical materials and methods used to make this tangyang.
