奇偶数文化视域下中日民族心理的共性研究

语言学中,数字被称为"数词",作为独立的品词专门表示数量。奇偶数作为数字符号一种表现形式,在人类文明发展的漫长历史中,积累了非常丰富的文化内涵,反映并象征着人类不同的思想。中日两国是一衣带水的邻邦,但对奇偶数的喜好却不尽相同。中国人崇尚偶数,主要体现在价值追求、生活方式、文学作品、汉字和建筑风格等方面;日本人喜欢奇数,主要体现在价值观念、文学作品和生活方式等方面。尽管中日两国对数字的喜好不同,但是通过数字的发音趋吉避凶的民族心理,是产生两国数字文化差异的一个重要特征。

Numbers are numeral words in linguistics,as independent article to used when referring to numbers.As mathematical signals,odd and even numbers has been endowed abundant cultural connotations in the prolonged development of human civilization,reflecting and symbolizing the different ideologies of human beings.Though China and Japan are neighbors with only a strip of water in between,their people demonstrate different preference for numbers.Even numbers are to the liking of Chinese people,which are embodied in value pursuit,life style,literature works,Chinese characters and architecture.Japanese people are fond of odd numbers,which can be commonly found in Japanese literature,life style etc.Though China and Japan differ greatly in their preference in numbers,one important characteristic they share is the national psychology to use numbers as tools to bring good fortune and avoid bad luck.
