贫困是困扰人类社会发展的"阿喀琉斯之踵",消除贫困是各国人民追求幸福生活的基本权利。面对这个世界性难题,百年来中国共产党带领中国人民不断进行理论探索和实践创新,开辟了一条摆脱贫困的中国式道路,实现了消除绝对贫困的千年梦想,彰显了中国特色社会主义制度在消除贫困方面无与伦比的制度优势。站在"两个一百年"的历史交汇点,一方面要巩固脱贫攻坚成果,逐步解决相对贫困的问题,为实现共同富裕不懈奋斗;另一方面要及时总结中国共产党反贫困经验,构建中国特色反贫困理论体系,为全球减贫事业贡献中国经验和中国智慧,不断增强中国特色社会主义道路自信、理论自信、制度自信、文化自信。

Poverty is the"Achilles’heer"that plagues the development of human society.Eliminating poverty is the basic right of people in all countries to pursue a happy life.In the face of this worldwide problem,the Communist Party of China has led Chinese people to continuously carry out theoretical explorations and practical innovations over the past century.It has opened up a Chinesestyle route to get rid of poverty,realized the millennium dream of eradicating absolute poverty,and demonstrated the unparalleled institutional advantage of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.At the turn of the century,a critical timing,on the one hand,we must consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation,solve the problem of relative poverty step by step,and strive for common prosperity;On the other hand,it is necessary to collect the Chinese Communist Party’s successful experiences in a timely manner,and build an anti-poverty theoretical framework with Chinese characteristics,to contribute to the cause of global poverty reduction and continuously enhance the confidence in the socialist system,theory,institution,and culture with Chinese characteristics.
