现代企业理论三大流派的比较分析

A Comparative Analysis of Modern Theories of the Firm

代理理论、交易成本理论和产权理论是现代企业理论的三大主要流派,虽然都以企业合约作为研究的前提和基础,但在很多方面存在差异。文章从基本假定与合约观、企业的本质和企业的边界三个方面系统地做了比较,并分析了其互补关系。研究发现,基本假定的不同导致三大流派采用不同的合约观,进而导致三者对企业的本质和边界的分析存在差异;三大流派在多个方面表现出一定的互补性,存在理论融合的可能。文章最后根据上述研究发现,结合现代企业理论的研究现状,进一步从现代企业理论自身的整合、与其他学科的融合、构建当代研究新范式三个方面提出了未来的研究方向。

Agency theory,transaction cost economics and property rights theory are three main branches of the modern theories of the firm.All of them take firm contracts as the premise and basis,but they are dissimilar from each other in many areas.This paper compares the divergences of these three theories systematically and analyzes their complementarities from the perspectives of basic assumptions and the view of contracts,as well as the nature and boundaries of the firm.We find that different basic assumptions adopted by these theories lead to different contractual views,and therefore result in varied explanations for the nature and boundaries of the firm.In addition,there exist possibilities for these branches to combine due to their complementarities in foregoing areas.According to the research findings above and the research status,we look ahead to the trends of modern theories of the firm from the perspective of theoretical integration and the construction of novel research paradigms.
