新发展格局下人民币国际化的空间布局研究——以“一带一路”沿线国家为例

Spatial Layout for the Internationalization of the Renminbi Under the New Development Paradigm: A Case Study of Countries along the Belt and Road Initiative Route

在新发展格局下,人民币国际化是顺应中国经济在全球范围布局供应链、优化价值链和产业链的重要举措。构建人民币国际化空间布局理论框架,以"一带一路"沿线国家为样本,运用SOM神经网络聚类分析与因子分析法,分析人民币国际化空间布局影响因素在沿线国家所呈现出的聚类特征与差异,研究表明,人民币国际化布局在整体上呈现出自东向西、由近及远的聚类特点,在"一带一路"沿线国家形成核心区、扩展区、辐射区与外围区;影响布局的因素随着空间距离扩大呈现出逐渐弱化的趋势。建议加强人民币国际化空间布局顶层设计,结合"一带一路"沿线国家特点,因地制宜、分类推进人民币国际化空间布局,完善人民币国际化空间布局配套改革。

Under the new development paradigm, internationalization of the Renminbi is important for the Chinese economy to expand into global supply chains and optimize global value chains and industrial chains.In this study, we first construct a theoretical framework for the spatial layout of Renminbi internationalization.By selecting countries along the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI) route as research samples, we examine the differences in factors influencing the spatial clustering characteristics of countries along the BRI route under the spatial layout of Renminbi internationalization using cluster analysis based on the self-organizing map(SOM) neural network as well as factor analysis.The results of the study reveal that the overall layout of Renminbi internationalization exhibits clustering characteristics from east to west and from near to far, where countries along the BRI route form a core area, an expansion area, a radiation area, and a peripheral area.The factors influencing the layout gradually weaken as spatial distance increases.The findings of this study suggest that the top-level design of the spatial layout of Renminbi internationalization must be strengthened.Further, the spatial layout of Renminbi internationalization needs to be advanced according to local conditions and classifications coupled with the characteristics of countries along the BRI route.Moreover, supporting reforms in the spatial layout of Renminbi internationalization must be enhanced.
