In January 2022,massive social unrest was sparked in Kazakhstan because of a rocketing price increase of liquefied petroleum gas after the government lifted price caps.The unrest was typically characterized by terrorism in that it was extremely violent,destructive,and organized,and the participants consisted of people from various backgrounds.This unrest was an outburst of the cumulation of domestic socio-economic contradiction,agitated and enchanted by foreign hostile forces.This social unrest has exerted a strong influence on the geopolitics of Central Asia and its neighboring countries.
