竞争强度、合作强度与企业创新决策行为——基于企业专利申请动机视角的分析

Competition Intensity,Cooperation Intensity and Enterprise Innovation Decision-making Behavior——From the perspective of enterprise patent application motivation

专利申请动机是企业创新决策行为异质性的基础,而企业间竞争或合作关系对企业专利申请动机具有重要影响。本文将专利申请动机划分为四个维度:市场保护动机、技术交易动机、阻拦动机及政策获取动机,分析竞争强度、合作强度以及企业专利能力对专利申请动机的影响。研究发现:企业间竞争强度水平越高,专利申请动机中的技术交易动机和阻拦动机越强;企业合作强度水平越高,市场保护动机与政策获取动机越强。此外,专利能力在竞争强度与技术交易动机、阻拦动机之间具有正向调节作用。基于此,企业管理者应保持对竞争环境、合作环境的高度敏感性,政府管理者应引导企业以市场保护动机、技术交易动机和阻拦动机为导向申请专利,加强国内企业知识产权创造、运用和转化能力建设。

The motivation of patent application is the basis of the heterogeneity of innovation decision-making behavior of enterprises,and the competition or cooperation between enterprises has an important influence on the motivation of patent application of enterprises.This paper divides the motivation of patent application into four dimensions:market protection motivation,technology trading motivation,blocking motivation and policy acquisition motivation,and analyzes the influence of competition intensity,cooperation intensity and enterprise patent ability on patent application motivation.It is found that the higher the intensity of competition among enterprises,the stronger the motivation of technology trading and blocking in patent application;The higher the level of enterprise cooperation intensity,the stronger the motivation of market protection and policy acquisition.In addition,patent ability has a positive regulatory effect on competition intensity,technology trading motivation and blocking motivation.Based on this,enterprise managers should be highly sensitive to the competitive environment and cooperative environment,and government managers should guide enterprises to apply for patents with market protection motivation,technology trading motivation and blocking motivation,and strengthen the capacity building of intellectual property creation,application and transformation of domestic enterprises.
