全球价值链嵌入与企业出口产品质量提升

Global Value Chain Embeddedness and the Improvement of Export Products Quality of Enterprises

嵌入全球价值链有利于提高我国企业出口产品质量,对提升企业竞争力、促进企业迈向全球价值链的中高端具有重要意义。本文通过理论和实证分析考察嵌入全球价值链如何影响中国企业出口产品质量,结果显示:嵌入全球价值链能够提升中国企业出口产品质量,但两者并非简单的线性关系,而是呈现倒U型关系。另外,嵌入全球价值链对低技术企业的提升作用大于对高技术企业的提升作用;对不从事加工贸易的企业提升作用较为显著;对中间品和资本品质量的提升作用大于对消费品的提升作用。鉴于此,建议我国企业在未来全球竞争中应深度参与更高水平的国际分工合作,提高产品质量,积极推动科技创新。

Embedding in global value chain is helpful to improve the quality of export products of Chinese enterprises,which is of great significance for them to promote their competitiveness as well as move towards the middle and high end of global value chain.Through theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper investigates how embedding in GVCS affects the quality of Chinese enterprises’export products.The result shows:Embedding global value chain can improve the quality of Chinese enterprises’export products,but the relationship between them is not simple linear,but inverted U-shaped.In addition,the promotion effect of embedded global value chain on low-technology enterprises is greater than that on high-tech enterprises.The promotion effect on enterprises not engaged in processing trade is more significant.The improvement effect on the quality of intermediate goods and capital goods is greater than that on consumer goods.In view of this,this paper sug-gests that Chinese enterprises should deeply participate in a higher level of international division of labor and cooperation,improve product quality and actively promote scientific and technological innovation in the future global competition.
