近代中国基督教会的本色化运动——以中华基督教会为中心的考察

The Self-reliance Movement of the Modern Chinese Christian Church: Focus on Church of Christ in China

基督教传入中国后,为了更好地达成广泛传教的目的,基督教会试图采用各种方式减少中国社会各阶层的抵牾,努力融入本土社会。在近代中国民族主义兴起的背景下,基督教会以自立为目标的本色化进程迭经不同阶段,孕育出不一的成果,并产生了中华基督教会等较具代表性的自立教会。总体而论,近代中国基督教会的本色化运动存在较大的路径困难和局限性,但凭借自身努力仍在一定程度上实现了与中国社会交融的目的。

After the Christianity being led into China,in order to achieve the purpose of extensive missionary easier,the Christian Church adopted various methods to reduce the resistance of all levels of Chinese society and strive to integrate into the local society.Under the background of the rising of modern Chinese nationalism,the Christian church’s primal process of selfreliance had passed through different stages and produced different results.Although there are still many major limitations,the overall transfers of culture had reached China.
