Divinity and Poeticism:A Discussion of the“New Literature Family”of Yenching University

燕京大学“新文学家族”是以燕京大学刘廷芳、赵紫宸、陆志韦为主的三家,通过血缘、联姻及“拜干亲”等方式组成,这一文学家族具有“神性”与“诗意”的文化内涵,即家族成员的基督教信仰、对圣诗的译介及本土化实践、新诗创作等特征。在此基础上,概述了这一文学家族对新诗合乐及多样化发展的贡献,并对燕京大学新文学发展所产生的积极影响。燕京大学“新文学家族”在新文学发展史上具有极其特殊的意义。

The“New Literature Family”of Yenching University is composed mainly of three families:Liu Tingfang,Zhao Zichen,and Lu Zhiwei.They formed this literary family through blood ties,intermarriage,and“adopting each other as relatives”.This literary family has cultural connotations of“divinity”and“poeticism”,including the Christian faith of family members,the translation and localization of hymns,and the creation of new poetry.Based on this,this article summarizes the contribution of this literary family,from the prosody to the diversification of new poetry,as well as the positive impact it has had on the new literature at Yenching University.The“New Literary Family”of Yenching University is of special significance in the history of the development of New Literature.
