从“本土化”到“中国化”:接着孔汉思“我们自己说”

From Inculturation to Sinicization,Following up the Theological Discourses of Hans Küng

本文将孔汉思与秦家懿关于基督教与中国宗教的对话置于当前基督教中国化的语境之下,对其做出评估。通过比较孔汉思提出的“本土化”概念与“中国化”概念,本文认为,虽然它们关注的是同一个深层次问题,但在主体、方法和目的上却有显著的不同。“中国化”是对“本土化”的超越与提升。接着本文阐述了基督教中国化在方法论上,应在遵循“互鉴通和”的路径上返本开新,其具体内涵就是修复、重溯、回归、重构、重建和更新,目的在于实现基督教在中国的创造性转化和创新性发展,也就是“我们自己说”。最后,本文尝试从基督教的渊源性核心出发,通过思想结构与话语的更新,对新儒家所提出的中华文化的五个价值进行吸纳与综合,从而展现建构中国化的基督教思想体系之可能。

This paper is to evaluate the dialogue between Hans Küng and Julia Ching about the relationship between Christianity and Chinese Religions,especially the thesis of inculturation,in 1987 in the context of contemporary so-called zhongguohua(Sinicization)of Christianity.It believes that inculturation and sinicization is to deal with the same deep question of creative transformation of Christian faith into Chinese cultures,but with radical different orientations in their understandings about the subjects,methods and purposes of the whole project.Sinicization tries to absorb,transcend,and promote the thesis of inculturation.The author proposes here his own methodology of sinicization of Christianity,that is called“reaching harmony through deep learning in mutual reflection”,in the process that Christianity recover,retrieve,restore,reconfigure,reconstruct,and renew its own tradition,in a dialogue with Chinese context with the purpose to creatively transform and to innovatively develop itself in contemporary China.Finally,it provides a theological reception and synthesis of the five values of contemporary Confucianism on the basis of the fundamental Christian doctrine of incarnation,in order to show the possibility of doing an authentic Chinese theology.
