Reflection on Traditional Beliefs of Africans in Modern Europe

非洲人的传统信仰一直是欧洲学者研究的话题。从早期研究的态势看,大部分的欧洲学者认为它本身不具有研究价值,反而更多地从基督教的思想来释义非洲人的宗教和文化。随着越来越多的欧洲学者逐步从非洲人自身的立场和他们的宗教文化环境来重新解读时,他们发现非洲人的传统信仰和他们生活的各个方面的关联就愈加凸显出重要性。不仅如此,他们还观测到了它也在变化的历史潮流中发生着自我式的更新,并不断地融合进非洲人对生命和生活的哲学反思中。在此过程中,他们所共同信仰的基础也升华为统一性的价值理念。

Traditional Belief of Africans has long been studied by European scholars.From the perspective of early research,most European scholars believed that it had no research value in itself,instead,they interpreted African Religion and Culture more from the ideas of Christianity and Islam.As more And more European scholars reinterpret them from the perspective of Africans themselves and their religious and cultural context,they find the relevance of their Traditional Belies to all aspects of their lives increasingly important.Not only that,but they also observe its self-renewal in the changing historical tide and its constant integration into African philosophical reflections on Life and Existence.In this process,the foundation of their Common Belief also sublimates into the Value Idea of Unity.
